MOSCOW, February 2 The famous Ukrainian artist Andrei Danilko, who is known for his stage image of Verka Serduchka, was banned for life from entering the United Arab Emirates (UAE), reports RBC agency -Ukraine.
“»Andrei Danilko was banned for life from entering the territory of the UAE. Allegedly, the Emirati authorities made this decision after the artist’s performance at a corporate event in Dubai in 2022,” says a message published on the agency’s website.
According to the agency, the reason for the ban is “inciting ethnic hatred.” It is noted that Danilko spoke out in support of Ukraine during a speech in Dubai.
According to the artist himself, quoted by the agency, he is not upset and is confident that he will continue to attract full houses around the world.
