MOSCOW, February 2 Received today There have already been 740 thousand applications from voters to use the remote electronic voting procedure in the Russian presidential elections and about 160 thousand applications to use the “Mobile Voter,” said CEC Chairman Ella Pamfilova.
«We have already submitted 740 thousand applications so that you can vote in those regions where remote electronic voting will take place, and about 160 thousand applications have been submitted to use the Mobile Voter, that is, these are our voters who during the voting will not be at their usual place of residence, but somewhere else in Russia,” Pamfilova said at a meeting of the Central Election Commission.

The head of the Central Election Commission reminded that such applications can be submitted through the State Services portal, as well as through the MFC, the territorial election commission, and closer to the elections — through the precinct commission.

The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.
Currently, eight people are vying for the post of head of state. The Russian Central Election Commission has registered four presidential candidates — Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
The Central Electoral Commission must decide on registration or refusal of registration in relation to all candidates no later than February 10.
