Official ACEA confirmation guarantees that Mirax motor oils fully comply with European quality standards.
The relevance of ACEA certification for Russia is due to the wide distribution of European-made cars in the vehicle fleet of the central part of the country: Volkswagen, Skoda, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, BMW, Renault and other popular auto brands in the Russian Federation. Toyota, Honda and Hyundai, despite having their own regulator, are also members of ACEA.
Mirax motor oil product lines, developed on the basis of ANTIOX antioxidant technology, which prevents early aging of the oil, are created specifically for use in Russian conditions — with unstable fuel quality and low operating temperatures.
Obtaining approvals is provided by the Korean partner and co-owner of the brand – SIT Corporation LLC. Thanks to joint work, the window of opportunity to obtain official compliance and the components required for this from Europe did not close in 2022, and the Russian consumer has the opportunity to buy a product officially certified by ACEA.
The Mirax brand is a member of EELQMS — the European quality management system for motor lubricants developed by ACEA, ATC (Technical Committee of Petroleum Additive Manufacturers in Europe) and ATIEL (Technical Association of the European Oil Industry). This is the only system that can be used to confirm ACEA approvals.
The European Automotive Manufacturers Association (ACEA) is the official voice and
technological regulator of the European automotive industry, one of the global institutions that determines the development of the industry. The association unites 14 of the largest passenger car manufacturers and maintains constant contact with 30 national automobile associations in Europe. The organization was created to lobby the interests of automakers. One of the areas of activity is the issuance of requirements for the use of motor oils in engines that are members of the association of companies.
ACEA constantly updates lubricant standards, tightening requirements from year to year to reduce harmful emissions and increase fuel efficiency.
