MOSCOW, February 5 Chairman of the Party Central Committee » Communists of Russia» Sergei Malinkovich reported that the working group of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation identified many errors in the signature sheets for his nomination for the post of President of Russia, the percentage of errors exceeds the permissible level.
Earlier, the CEC reported that the working group summed up the results of checking the signature sheets in support of candidates Boris Nadezhdin and Sergei Malinkovich and handed over the final inspection protocols to their representatives.
“The decision of the working group, unfortunately, does not promise us registration. Judging by the presented protocol, they found quite a lot of errors, the percentage of errors exceeds the permissible one. The final decision will, of course, be at the commission meeting on February 7, so it would be wrong to prejudge. But from the protocol I see that they have a number of complaints,» Malinkovich said.
«We respect the commission's decision, we We thank them for their work, but we insist that our signatures were collected honestly. Yes, perhaps some formal errors were made; out of 100 thousand it was difficult to avoid them. The procedure is very complex, it needs to be simplified… We, being supporters of the consolidation of society, aware of our responsibility during the SVO period, will not challenge the decision of the Central Election Commission, whatever it may be, we will accept it,” Malinkovich said.
