MOSCOW, February 7 The Russian military began to carry out airstrikes more often on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said British expert Alexander Mercouris on his YouTube channel.

Merkouris noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are subjected to Russian airstrikes in many directions on the front line, and Ukrainian air defense systems can no longer protect military facilities and positions.

On Tuesday The Ministry of Defense reported that Russian troops carried out a group strike on enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.
Russian aviation is actively using aerial bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC) in the northwestern military zone. Combat aircraft have the opportunity to strike fortified areas without exposing themselves to the fire of anti-aircraft missile systems.
The Russian Armed Forces have been launching missile attacks on energy, defense industry, military command and communications facilities throughout Ukraine since October 10, 2022.
