ROSTOV-ON-DON, February 10 An attempt to attack children was again made in Rostov-on-Don, a man tried to use violence against two minor girls, the police are looking for attacker, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Rostov Region reported on Saturday.
“The police department… received a message from a local resident that an unknown citizen followed two children into the entrance of an apartment building located on Brestskaya Street in the city of Rostov-on-Don, having previously waited for the girls at the entrance. Having entered the entrance, he tried to use violence against minor, the girls screamed, as a result of which he got scared and ran away,” says the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
It is clarified that the police are currently taking measures to identify and detain the attacker and are clarifying all the circumstances of the incident.
This is the second attack on children committed in Rostov-on-Don this week: on Friday it was reported that a man previously convicted of pedophilia had been arrested, who on February 7 stalked two little girls in Rostov-on-Don. He followed the schoolgirl and tried to follow her into the entrance of a multi-storey building on Orbitalnaya Street 70/2, but a local resident scared him off. Another minor managed to run into her apartment, hiding from her pursuer. Thanks to a video recording of a man, which spread on social networks, and the actions of concerned citizens, the attacker was detained by the police at his home.
