MOSCOW, February 10. In Karelia, the bodies of all three crew members of the Mi-8 helicopter that crashed into Lake Onega were found, according to the Telegram channel of the Russian Investigative Committee.
«An inspection of the helicopter raised from the bottom of Lake Onega, which crashed in the Republic of Karelia, was carried out. Bodies were discovered. all three crew members. Forensic medical examinations, flight technical examinations were ordered, and relatives of the victims, who were recognized as victims, were interrogated,» the department said.
It is noted that investigators continue to investigate the criminal case.
On Sunday, February 4, the Mi-8 helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations stopped communicating in Karelia. It was flown by an experienced crew with thousands of hours of flight time. It later turned out that the aircraft crashed into Lake Onega; the wormwood was found 11 kilometers from the shore.
As a representative of the emergency services reported, the cause of the disaster could have been a violation of flight safety rules. According to the head of the republic, Artur Parfenchikov, Vladimir Evseev, Sergei Nosov and Vladimir Bilida were on board.
On Monday, rescuers found a heavily damaged Mi-8 hull at a depth of 42 meters.
