MAKHACHKALA, February 9 The United States provided comprehensive support to international terrorists, invading the North Caucasus to weaken Russia, said the head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov in his Telegram channel.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, said that despite his repeated requests to stop, the United States continued to support terrorism in the North Caucasus, provided political, informational, financial and military support to terrorists, and even a discussion of this issue at the highest level did not change the situation .
“In a conversation with a journalist, Vladimir Vladimirovich also touched upon the events in the North Caucasus. He recalled that the United States provided full support to international terrorists, including those who invaded Dagestan. This was also done to weaken Russia. We remember those events well,” he wrote Melikov. The head of the republic recalled that “ordinary Dagestanis” stood up against “heavily armed bandits,” along with military personnel and law enforcement officers.
