MOSCOW, February 10 Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin on the government website congratulated employees and veterans of the Russian Foreign Ministry on their professional holiday, noting that it is important for the department to ensure the deepening of Eurasian integration and implement the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin to form a Greater Eurasian Partnership.
Diplomatic Worker's Day is celebrated in Russia on the 10th February.

Mishustin emphasized that now the priority in the country is to expand trade and economic cooperation between Russia and friendly countries. In addition, diplomatic assistance is in demand in the implementation of promising projects, protecting the interests of Russian business abroad.
According to him, it is necessary to ensure the rights of Russian citizens and compatriots abroad, develop international humanitarian and scientific exchanges, strengthen the position of the Russian language and culture in world.
The Prime Minister noted that the Russian chairmanship of the CIS and BRICS bodies in 2024 opens up new opportunities for the effective promotion of economic initiatives.
“I am confident that the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, employees of diplomatic and consular missions will continue to work with full dedication and achieve high results for the benefit of the Motherland,” added Mishustin.
