MOSCOW, February 8 Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed doubling monthly payments to academicians and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
«Increased by one and a half times monthly payments to academicians and corresponding members,” Putin recalled, speaking on Thursday at the State Kremlin Palace at a gala evening on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
“I believe that this is not enough, and I propose here an additional solution, namely — to double the amount of such payments compared to 2023. That is, an academician will have to receive 200 thousand rubles monthly, a corresponding member — 100 thousand rubles,” the president added.
