MOSCOW, February 12. Almost a thousand people took part in the open casting of the project “New Star Factory”, which took place at Mosfilm, reports the press service of the TNT channel.
“»Participants from all over Russia came to the casting from Nakhodka to Sochi, from Kazakhstan, Abkhazia, the Republic of Belarus. During the day, producers and music editors, together with mentors, listened to almost a thousand people,” the press service quoted the general producer of “VayTMedia” Yulia Sumacheva as saying.
In addition to Sumacheva, the applicants were also auditioned by the show's mentors Sergei Zhukov and Sergei Shnurov, as well as TNT general producer Arkady Vodakhov.

According to the leader and soloist of the group «Hands Up!», the selection of participants was truly successful strong.

"Believe me, I have seen a lot of them in 25 years. This time there were almost no freaks and rappers. And when everyone sings well, it becomes difficult for mentors and producers: because comparing good with good is very difficult. Therefore, other categories were also evaluated: energy, charm, charisma, songs that they showed us,” Zhukov commented.
Who made it into the project will become known this spring, when “ New Star Factory» will air on TNT.
