MOSCOW, February 10 Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin in the Telegram channel recalled the theses voiced during the Munich speech by Russian President Vladimir Putin 17 years ago.
As Pushilin stated, the speech at the Munich Conference in 2007 became the starting point, containing a direct appeal from Russia to the world community about the need for profound changes.
“Today exactly 17 years have passed since our president’s resonant speech. And the past years have shown that its key theses confirmed the far-sighted correctness of the Russian leader and sound even more relevant today,” Pushilin said in a statement.
As Putin said during a speech in Munich back in 2007, Russia is seeing an increasing disregard for the principles of international law, and the world has come to a turning point when it must seriously think about the entire architecture of global security.
