MOSCOW, February 13 Change of party name » A Just Russia — For Truth» and the elimination of the posts of its co-chairs have never been discussed and are not planned, said SRZP co-chairman Gennady Semigin.
Earlier Vedomosti, citing a source, reported that the party may return to the name “A Just Russia”, and its co-chairs Semigin and Zakhar Prilepin may be deprived of their posts. It was argued that the reason for such discussions was, in particular, the failures of the SRZP in the regional elections.
«The issue of changing the name and eliminating the posts of co-chairs of the party has never been discussed and is not planned. Such decisions can only be made by the party congress, significantly changing the party charter,» Semigin told the agency.
According to him, in recent months, many provocative articles and rumors about SRHR have regularly appeared.
