BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 16 Peruvian Congressman Guillermo Bermejo , who was prevented by the United States from coming to the forum in Moscow, said that he does not expect a quick reaction from the authorities of his country, since they are dependent on Washington.
The legislator previously contacted the Peruvian Foreign Ministry and the Commission on International Relations of the country's Congress with a request to speak out on the current situation.

Earlier, the congressman said that the United States did not allow him to fly to the forum “For the Freedom of Nations!”, which takes place on February 15-17 in Moscow, but he will still take part in it virtually.
According to Bermejo, to get to Moscow, he flew from Lima to Mexico City, from there he intended to fly to Istanbul, and then to the Russian Federation. But upon transfer to Mexico City, he learned that he would not be able to cross US airspace. He said that he asked for an explanation from the airline several times, but he was not provided with one.
Russia condemns the actions of the United States, which did not allow the delegate from Peru to come to the forum in Moscow, said Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov. According to him, this shows that “our adversaries, our opponents, do not disdain any methods in order to impose their will on those who are not ready to submit to their demands, to follow their agenda.”
