
MOSCOW, February 20 North Korean leader Kim Jong Eun received a Russian-made car as a gift from Russian President Vladimir Putin, reports the North Korean Central Telegraph Agency (KCNA).
““Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin presented the Chairman of State Affairs of the DPRK, Comrade Kim Jong-un,” the agency reports.
According to KCNA, the gift on February 18 from the Russian side was received by the secretary of the central committee of the Workers' Party of the DPRK, Park Chon Chon, and the deputy head of the department of the party's Central Committee, the sister of the North Korean leader, Kim Yo Jong. As noted, the sister of the DPRK leader said that this gift serves as clear evidence of the special friendly relations established between the leaders of the two countries. She also conveyed to the Russian side Kim Jong-un's gratitude to Putin.
In September 2023, during Kim Jong-un's visit to Russia, Putin showed him Aurus. The Russian leader has been using this limousine for several years, sometimes showing it to foreign colleagues, some of them have shown interest in the car.
