BELGOROD, February 20 Belgorod residents complained about the roof of a private house in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, but the owner of the house objected that this combination of colors happened by accident.
In comments on a page on the social network VKontakte, the girl asked the authorities to pay attention to a house in Belgorod, where on the roof she saw the flag of Ukraine in a combination of colors, which she was outraged by.
«The flag is hung on the entire roof of the house. I think this is unacceptable in our environment,» the girl wrote.
The owner of the house, Maxim Levykh, explained to the agency that the roof repair was required due to damage to the waterproofing from the sun.
«There was no money to hire workers. I did everything myself and with my own hands. I bought a blue awning, closed the ridge, then a yellow one, then the last one — white , on the other side of the house they blocked it with film,” said Maxim.
He emphasized that he did not expect such attention to the roof awnings. Left himself turned to the authorities to avoid misunderstandings. According to him, he wrote a proposal on social networks to find a red awning for a fee to match the colors of the Russian flag, so far no proposals have been received.
““I hope no one will do anything nasty to me… I am a law-abiding citizen, we’ll discuss what they suggest, and I’ll do it,” said the owner of the house.
The city administration reported that they would clarify the information.
