Representatives of the Svarog farm, together with law enforcement agencies, agency experts and the Sakhalin Forestry State Institution, inspected the places where the bodies of dead animals were found.< /p>
Information about the death of wapiti on the territory leased by the hunting area was received on Tuesday, February 27. Five carcasses of deer were discovered in the south of Sakhalin. Two of them fell from cliffs, one was found to have a leg injury, the causes of death of the other two could not be determined on the spot.
Tissue samples from the corpses were taken for examination for the presence of diseases at the station for combating infectious diseases animals in Korsakov. There, specialists will conduct the necessary research.
