MOSCOW, March 3 Ethiopia does not plan to reduce the volume of coffee exports to Russia, the country's ambassador to Russia, Cham Ugala Uryat, said in an interview.
«No, no. I know last year there was news about a possible decrease in imports to the Russian Federation, but that was a lie. We want to export more coffee around the world,» the diplomat said.
When asked about the possibility of discounts for Russian consumers, he replied that this does not depend on government decisions, but on the market.
«If there is demand in Russia, then businessmen in Ethiopia can see it and export more coffee. But as for discounts, this will be determined by market mechanisms,» the ambassador emphasized.
