An explosion occurred in a five-story brick building at 161 Piskarevsky Prospekt at about seven o'clock in the morning. According to Fontanka, a drone crashed into the house. According to photos from the scene, sections of the wall, windows and balconies were damaged, and debris was scattered across the yard.
Governor Alexander Beglov, in a post about the explosion, refused to name its causes and presented it as “an incident in the Krasnogvardeisky district.” According to him, there were no casualties as a result of the explosion, the residents were evacuated.
On Piskarevsky Prospekt, a kilometer from this house, there is the Ruchyi oil depot, owned by a subsidiary of Rosneft, the Petersburg Fuel Company.
