According to her, the current administration of Moldova is hiding behind democracy, but in fact is trying to establish a dictatorship in the country.
“What is happening yesterday and today in Moldova, and we have been observing this for several months after Sandu’s arrival, this is evidenced, in my opinion, most clearly,” Zakharova summed up.

He also called the Gagauz leader a representative of the Shor criminal group.

In turn, Moldovan oppositionist Ilan Shor said that Chisinau is preparing to arrest Hutsul immediately after her return to her homeland .

Gagauzia is an autonomy in the south of Moldova, which traditionally advocates rapprochement with Russia, while Chisinau has declared a course towards European integration. In February 2014, a referendum was held in this territory on the issue of determining the vector of the country’s foreign policy. More than 98 percent of its participants were in favor of integrating the republic into the Customs Union.
