MOSCOW, March 8 A massive collapse occurred during the women's ski ten-kilometer mass start as part of the Winter Spartakiad of students in the village of Estosadok (Krasnodar Territory).
An incident involving more than a dozen girls occurred during a descent on a high-speed section of the highway. The race took place in poor visibility conditions.
According to the protocol, 14 participants were unable to complete the distance. Organizers have already canceled the 15-kilometer men's race, which was supposed to take place on the same day.
