YEKATERINBURG , March 12The former deputy head of Yugorsk in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Dmitry Krylov, died in the zone of a special military operation, the city administration reports.
«During the implementation of the tasks of a special military operation, our fellow countryman and colleague Dmitry Aleksandrovich Krylov died,» the message says.
It is noted that in December 2023, Krylov entered into a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and went to the Northern Military District zone. As the commander of an assault platoon, he took part in the liberation of Avdeevka and was mortally wounded on February 4. According to the authorities, Krylov will be buried in his native Kurgan.
As the administration clarified, the official devoted 15 years to municipal service and went from a simple specialist to the first deputy head of the city. In the last year, Krylov filled the position of manager of the administration of the city of Yugorsk.
