Announcer Svetlana Morgunova was buried at Troekurovskoye Cemetery

MOSCOW, 14 Mar USSR Central Television announcer Svetlana Morgunova was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow, the correspondent reports.
Morgunova died on March 10 at the age of 84, the cause of death, as her close friend Vera Musatova reported, was a detached blood clot. The farewell took place in the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity at the Sklifosovsky Institute of Emergency Medicine.
Her relatives, friends, and colleagues came to the closed farewell ceremony for the Soviet announcer. Among them were artists Klara Novikova, Lev Leshchenko, Alexander Rosenbaum, composer Igor Krutoy, doctor Leonid Roshal, announcer Elena Kovalenko. Soviet and Russian announcer Anna Shatilova noted that the whole country knew Morgunova, and her colleagues respected and loved her. Morgunova's granddaughter told reporters that she was lucky to have such a grandmother.
Wreaths were sent to the funeral by People's Artist of the RSFSR Nadezhda Babkina, the family of Honored Doctor Levon Ashrafyan, the Vinokurov family, VGTRK, TV presenter Andrei Malakhov, the Kobzon family, the State Kremlin Palace.
Svetlana Morgunova — People's Artist of Russia and Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Since 1961, she worked as an announcer for the USSR Central Television. She hosted episodes of the Blue Light and Morning Mail programs.
