UN, March 16 First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky at a UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine, he accused Western diplomats of not speaking out on the topic of canceling the presidential elections in Ukraine, while criticizing the elections in Russia.
Polyansky pointed out that Kiev sends its military on “suicidal but high-profile raids, throwing equipment and well-trained personnel, which are extremely scarce for Kiev, for slaughter,” including to divert attention from the fact that from May 21 Vladimir Zelensky «becomes completely illegitimate.»
“Vladimir Zelensky, who once came to power under the slogans of being a “servant of the people,” single-handedly, in violation of the constitution of his country, canceled the presidential elections that were supposed to take place this spring,” Polyansky said.

Haven't you thought to start by calling on the Zelensky regime to comply with Ukrainian laws?» — asked the first deputy permanent representative.
He also asked Western diplomats who criticized the election in the new Russian territories how they, from the point of view of their “vaunted democratic standards,” could characterize Zelensky’s single-handed cancellation of the elections.
«How would you feel if, for example, Joe Biden canceled the presidential elections in the United States or Emmanuel Macron in France? Or are we still yet to see this? For some reason, not a single comment about the cancellation of the elections in Ukraine from you were not heard today,” added Polyansky.
