Short programs among girls ended at the Figure Skating Grand Prix Final. First place was taken by Sofia Dzepka, who received 74.03 points. Alisa Dvoeglazova is in second place (73.58). As a result, the skater received 62.20 points and took the intermediate last place, despite the fact that Bazylyuk’s lowest result in the short program this season had previously been at the Grand Prix stage in Kazan. Then she scored 72.06 points.
For obvious reasons, today's result greatly upset Bazylyuk. The perfectionists from the Tutberidze group are accustomed to not allowing even the slightest shortcomings. Apparently, her uncharacteristic mistakes were the result of fatigue accumulated over the course of the season, which many skaters note.
For example, Prineva, for whom the tournament in Sochi is fundamentally important, spoke about this. After an unsuccessful skate at the Russian Championship, the skater wanted to prove that there was a ridiculous misunderstanding then.
