SARATOV, March 15 Turnout in the presidential elections RF in the Saratov region as of 20.00 (19.00 Moscow time) Friday was 34.83%, the regional election commission reported.
«Turnout: 622,677 voters in the Saratov region took part in the Russian presidential elections on the first day of voting, which is 34.83%,» the election commission said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. For the first time, voting will last three days — March 15, 16 and 17. Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Vladislav Davankov, Vladimir Putin, Leonid Slutsky and Nikolai Kharitonov.
