The Tampa coach explained why he considers Kucherov the best player in the NHL

MOSCOW, March 17 Head coach of Tampa Bay John Cooper explained why he considers Russian forward Nikita Kucherov the best player in the National Hockey League (NHL).
This season, Kucherov ranks second in the list of top scorers in the league with 114 (40+74) points, second only to the Colorado forward. Nathan MacKinnon.
“”I would like to give credit to the main players of Tampa. In particular, Kucherov, who, in my opinion, has become the best player in the league. He carries us on both ends of the ice. There is a reason why we have a power play best in the league. Thanks in large part to him. If you took the top five to ten players in the league, turned on the TV, and all 32 teams were playing, and you had to switch to one game and watch one team play, I would bet, that they will choose Tampa, not to watch coach John Cooper – unfortunately – but to see Nikita Kucherov play. I think he has a ton of respect from everyone in the league and a lot of the top players. I think that’s the biggest compliment, and that’s why I think he should be the MVP,” Cooper is quoted as saying by ESPN.
Kucherov is 30 years old and has been playing for Tampa Bay since 2013. He is a two-time Stanley Cup winner.< br>
