YAROSLAVL, March 18 Vladimir Putin wins the election of the President of the Russian Federation in the Kostroma region with 80.52% of the votes, according to data from the regional election commission after processing 100% of the protocols.
According to the online scoreboard in the regional election commission, after counting 100% of the protocols, Putin gains 80.52%, Vladislav Davankov — 6.09%, Nikolai Kharitonov — 6.49%, Leonid Slutsky — 4.69%.
The Russian presidential elections were held for the first time over three days — from March 15 to 17. Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation applied for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
