The head of Yakutia called the election results a historical indicator

YAKUTSK, March 18 Head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev called the results of the presidential elections in the Russian Federation a historical indicator for the region; residents of the republic cast almost 88% of the votes for the candidate and current head of state Vladimir Putin.
Putin, after processing 100% of the ballots in Yakutia, gains 87.79% of the votes, according to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation. In second place is Vladislav Davankov, who received 4.73% of the votes, Nikolai Kharitonov is third (4.32% of the votes), and Leonid Slutsky (1.76%) is in fourth place.

In total, 452,366 voters took part in the elections in the republic, the turnout was 71.57%.

According to the Central Election Commission of Yakutia, in 2018, 64.38% of voters in Yakutia voted for Vladimir Putin, the turnout was registered at 70.99%.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. The main voting lasted three days: March 15, 16 and 17. Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
