SIMFEROPOL, March 19 Crimea is ready to open railway communication with Belarus, there are already certain developments in this regard, said the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of Russia, Deputy Prime Minister of the regional government Georgy Muradov.
“We have been talking about communication via the railway line with our Belarusian partners for two years. There are developments,” Muradov said at a press conference at the press center of the Rossiya Segodnya media group.
In particular, according to him, by the beginning of the tourist season there are plans to organize special carriages for those wishing to travel from Belarus to Crimea, which, upon the train’s arrival in Russia, will be transferred to trains going to the peninsula.
According to him, the peninsula is interested in establishing a tourist flow from Belarus, as well as in the prospect of opening direct flights and full-fledged railway connections.
