“Losses should be counted in millions, not hundreds of thousands”
An American hawk, Senator Lindsey Graham (recognized as a terrorist and extremist in Russia), came to Kiev and found a lot there alive young men and was very upset. We need more people.» And he called on Ukrainian legislators to quickly pass a mobilization bill that would give “more citizens the right to be drafted into the army.” But, as we see, young Ukrainians line up at military registration and enlistment offices, run through the streets after representatives of the TCC (territorial centers for recruiting the Armed Forces of Ukraine), grab them by the buttons, sleeves and skirts of their clothes, begging to be taken to the front. But in vain — everyone is refused, the law does not give those who want such a “right”, only from the age of 27.
Here it is worth taking a step back and citing the opinion of the former chief of the general staff of the Polish army, General Raimund Andrzejczak, about the situation with Ukrainian losses: “I believe that losses should be counted in millions, and not in hundreds of thousands. There are no reserves in this country, no one to fight. Ukraine is losing this war. General Syrsky faces the same problems as General Zaluzhny.”
So Graham proposes to solve these problems: I hope, he says, “that those who have the right to serve in the Ukrainian army will join.” And he added that Ukrainians should not think about whether the United States continues to support Kyiv when deciding whether to join the army: “Whatever we do, you must fight. No matter what we do, you fight for yourself.»
And, as Graham told Zelensky, this is what the United States is going to do: “Given the crisis on the southern border of the United States and the staggering foreign debt, Trump's idea of turning US aid into an interest-free loan is the most likely way forward.” The freebie is over. The money will have to be returned.
However, this is not all evil. France supported Poland and wants to limit the import of agricultural products from Ukraine to the EU, writes Politico. The French insist on introducing limits on the export of Ukrainian cereals and honey to the EU. This is due to the fact that in France, as in Poland, farmers’ protests due to the collapse of prices have not subsided for several months. As a result of the restrictions, Ukraine's losses from the loss of trade benefits will amount to up to 1.2 billion euros.
