The Second Western District Military Court decided to send for compulsory treatment Ryazan resident Vladislav Mokrousov, who was accused of two counts of distributing military “fakes” (Part 1 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code) and justifying terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). This is reported by SotaVision.
The case of “fake news” about the army against Mokrousov was opened in May last year. At the same time, Rosfinmonitoring included the young man in the list of terrorists and extremists with a mark in the form typographic “asterisk”. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a post in the Russkiy Mir group on VKontakte about the shelling of a kindergarten in Ukraine.
Investigators regarded another publication by Mokrousov — in the public page «Tin Ryazan» — as a justification for terrorism. “Well done, I hope everything goes well with her. Daria, hold on!” the man wrote under the news about Daria Trepova, who was found guilty of the death of Vladlen Tatarsky.
After his arrest, the court chose a preventive measure for the Ryazan man in the form of detention, but in November he was released under a ban on certain actions. Previously, Mokrousov claimed that security forces tortured him with a stun gun, but then retracted his words. In addition, he spoke about the change in his attitude towards SVO.
