WASHINGTON, March 20 US House Speaker Mike Johnson in During discussions on funding some federal departments, he agreed with the White House to ban LGBT* flags over American embassies, Bloomberg reports.
As part of the deal, Johnson agreed on “a ban on flying the LGBTQ* flag over US embassies,” the agency writes, citing an informed source. Additionally, the Confederate banner and Donald Trump's Make America Great Again flag will also be banned.
A representative of the Democratic Party, familiar with the corresponding proposal, told the agency that there is no ban on the personal use of rainbow flags by embassy employees.
