MOSCOW, March 20 Russian Foreign Ministry official representative Maria Zakharova said at the BraVo international music award ceremony that it is impossible not knowing those works of Russian culture that are world classics.

The ceremony was also attended by artists Philip Kirkorov, Lyubov Uspenskaya, Sevil, Mia Boyka, Mot (Matvey Melnikov), actor Vladimir Kristovsky, President of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation Irina Viner, two-time Olympic champion Svetlana Khorkina and others.
According to the head of the Turetsky Choir, People's Artist Mikhail Turetsky, such awards provoke public opinion to turn towards classical music, which represents the culture of the nation.
“It is imperative to support and cultivate such a competition,” Turetsky added.
The BraVo Award has been awarded since 2018 and covers dozens of countries in Eurasia. The award's partner countries are Japan, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, India, Singapore, Mongolia and the CIS countries — ambassadors of these states are traditionally present at the award ceremonies.
