MOSCOW, March 20There are no problems with fuel supply in Bashkiria on the eve of the sowing season, Prime Minister of the Republic Andrei Nazarov told reporters at the opening of the Days of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the Rosneft pavilion at the Russia exhibition at VDNKh.
When asked if there were any problems with fuel supply in the region on the eve of the sowing season, he said: “No, we didn’t have any. We are building relationships in such a way that during the sowing season the increased demand of farmers is satisfied, so we discuss in advance , what volumes will be required.”
Earlier on Wednesday, Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said that the Ministry of Energy, together with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, is working to agree on a fuel supply schedule for the sowing campaign, as well as to maintain sufficient reserves of petroleum products.
Traditionally, spring in Russia is accompanied by increased demand for fuel, when the sowing season begins, and road transport generally increases, including due to the start of the holiday season.
