On the morning of March 22, Belgorod once again came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in his Telegram channel.
A woman died on Yesenin Street while walking with her dogs. “The shell exploded next to her, a few meters away, and she died on the spot from her wounds. One of the dogs died, the second was already taken by the woman’s daughter,” Gladkov wrote. The moment of the impact was caught on video, the recording is published by local telegram channels.
According to preliminary data, two people were injured in the city. The glass in 31 apartments and four healthcare institutions, as well as 12 cars, was damaged — four cars were completely burned, the governor adds.
The Ministry of Defense reported in the morning that eight shells from the RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system were shot down over the Belgorod region.
