The Kondinsky District Court of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO-Yugra) received materials from administrative cases regarding “demonstration of extremist symbols” (Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code) against the heads of regional kindergartens “Solnyshko” and “Rodnichok”. Mediazona drew attention to the case cards on the court website.
The head of the Solnyshko kindergarten in the village of Mortka, Olga Shikhaleeva, told Mediazona that the reason for drawing up protocols against her and a colleague was the Facebook icons on the websites institutions.
“On our websites, in the login forms where it was suggested to log in through social networks, there was a Facebook icon, in addition to VKontakte. and «Odnoklassniki». That’s it, we removed this button right away,” she said.
According to Shikhaleeva, she learned about her administrative case from the results of an inspection by the regional prosecutor's office.

The second report was drawn up against the head of the Rodnichok kindergarten in the village of Mezhdurechensky, Olga Melnikova. She declined to comment.
On the eve of the presidential elections, teachers at the Solnyshko kindergarten invited the younger group to “participate in voting,” according to the kindergarten community on VKontakte. A game called “Poultry Yard Elections” was organized “to develop a positive and responsible attitude towards the election procedure” among children.
On March 18, the “Day of Reunification of Crimea with Russia” was held for kindergarten students in order to “develop a sense of patriotism, national unity and pride in their country,” the publication said.
