«There was no information about Kazakhstani citizens among the dead or injured,» Sputnik said in a message on its Telegram channel.
It is noted that the Kazakh Embassy is in contact with the Russian authorities regarding the incident.
Previously, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, strongly condemned the terrorist attack that occurred in Moscow at the Crocus City Hall.
The Russian FSB reported on Friday evening that the shooting and fire occurred before a concert at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow, on the northwestern border of Moscow. According to the FSB, 40 people were previously killed and more than 100 injured. The Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case regarding the terrorist attack.
A correspondent who witnessed the incident reported that at least three men in camouflage and without masks burst into the hall through the stalls, they shot people point-blank and threw incendiary bombs.
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that Vladimir Putin was informed about the shooting at Crocus in the first minutes, he constantly receives information through all relevant services about what is happening and about the measures being taken.
