Belgorod and the Belgorod region once again came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
In one of the residential buildings on Slavy Avenue, not far from the Belgorod administration, a balcony collapsed. Belgorod No. 1 notes that three months ago a shell had already hit the same yard.
Local telegram channels also report that the dormitory of the BSTU named after Shukhov was damaged, and the roof of the Mayak store was broken.
According to Gladkov, air defense systems shot down 22 targets over the area. Four people were injured, and another went to the emergency room for help. The governor added that 22 apartments, seven private houses and 11 cars were damaged.
On the morning of March 24, Gladkov reported that in 24 hours in Beogorod, as a result of two attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, seven local residents were injured ; one man died — he was in the apartment where the balcony collapsed.
In addition, a resident of the village of Murom, Shebekinsky urban district, who was in the garden at the time of the shelling, and an employee of an agricultural enterprise in the village of Tsapovka were wounded.
