In Crimea, a criminal case was opened against a resident of Sudak due to comments about the Russian military posted on VKontakte. TASS and Millet write about this with reference to a press release from the FSB department for Crimea and Sevastopol.
The Crimean woman is charged with distributing public calls for extremism on the Internet (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code). As a preventive measure, she was given a written undertaking not to leave the place, writes TASS.
“It was established that a 40-year-old resident of Sudak in one of the communities of the social network VKontakte” Using a personal account, she published comments calling for violent actions against military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces,” the FSB said in a statement.
The telegram channel of the pro-government Crimean activist Alexander Talipov also published news about the detention of a resident of Sudak. Her name is not disclosed in the post, but a video is attached to the post. The video shows a woman whose face is blurred and, presumably, an FSB officer who reads out an order to conduct an “inspection of the premises.” At the end of the video, the woman says that she refuses to sign the document.
At the same time, earlier, a fragment of this video was also published by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Crimea. The police report said that a resident of Sudak was brought to administrative responsibility for “discrediting” the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code) and was fined 30 thousand rubles. The criminal case was not reported in the police publication.
