MOSCOW, March 26 Prize winner in the field of literature and arts for works for children and youth for 2023, director of the Ryazan Regional Puppet Theater Konstantin Kirillov thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for supporting the Russian repertory theater.
Putin on Tuesday presented prizes in the field of literature and art in the Kremlin for works for children and youth and prizes for young cultural figures for 2023. The ceremony took place in the Catherine Hall. The presentation of the awards is timed to coincide with Cultural Worker's Day, which is celebrated annually in Russia on March 25.
«Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, let me thank you for the preservation and development of the Russian repertory theater and, first of all, the theater that works for children,» Kirillov said at the ceremony.
He noted the volume of construction, major repairs, reconstructions and the supply of new equipment to theaters. According to him, this is huge and unprecedented support.
Prizes in the field of literature and art for works for children and youth have been awarded since 2013. The winners this time were also the head of the Moscow Academy of Choreography Marina Leonova and opera singer Nikolai Didenko, who heads the White Steamship fund for supporting creatively gifted children and youth.
