Such materials will be used in the assembly of multilayer electronic modules, for example transceivers, whose printed circuit boards need protection from external factors: humidity, electromagnetic, thermal and other influences. The developed material is stable at temperatures up to 450 degrees and is resistant to chemical influences and moisture.
Rostec emphasized that the new dielectric successfully passed laboratory tests. Domestic material will make it possible to refuse the purchase of foreign analogues, such as Cyclotene 3000 series, the state corporation added.
“Materials based on benzocyclobutene derivatives have high dielectric properties, which make it possible to improve the performance characteristics of micro- and microwave electronics products,” the press service quotes the words of the general director of TsNITI Tekhnomash (part of Ruselectronics), where it was developed material, Artyom Dudkin.
