Yaroslavl said goodbye to producer and actor Yuri Vaksman

YAROSLAVL, March 30In Yaroslavl on Saturday they said goodbye to the honored cultural worker of Russia, actor and producer Yuri Vaksman, known to a wide audience, in particular, for his role in the TV series “Molodezhka”.
It was previously reported that Waxman died on March 27 at the age of 63.
Governor of the Yaroslavl region Mikhail Evraev wrote in his Telegram channel that farewell to Vaksman took place on Saturday. The head of the region added that he could not attend in person because he was on a business trip.

"But I want to say a few parting words. Yuri Mikhailovich will forever remain in our memory as a true creative leader, a multifaceted and unique personality. An extraordinary, bright and kind person,” the governor wrote.

He noted that Vaksman made a significant contribution to the development of culture in the Yaroslavl region. It was he who initiated many creative projects and festivals, which, according to the governor, made the Yaroslavl region famous throughout the country.

“Vaxman's name is forever inscribed in the history of the Yaroslavl region, and his sparkling smile will forever remain in our hearts,” wrote Evraev.
Yuri Vaksman graduated from the Voronezh Theater Institute, almost from the opening of the Yaroslavl Youth Theater and served in it until 1992. The actor became known for his role in the series “Molodezhka”, and also starred in the series “Rounder”, “Under the Laws of Martial Time”, “Living Mine” and in the films “Major Grom: Plague Doctor” and “The Tailor from Brooklyn”. Vaksman was the co-founder of the Yaroslavl Chamber Theater and the creator of the Yarsinema film company.
