More than 230 films will be shown at the Moscow International Film Festival

MOSCOW, April 2 More than 230 films will be shown in the competitive and non-competitive programs of the 46th Moscow International Film Festival in 2024, said the chairman of the MIFF selection committee, Ivan Kudryavtsev.
“This year the program is going to be very strong… We have more than 230 films in the competitive and out-of-competition programs – this is about 20 more than last year,” Kudryavtsev said at a press conference.
The main program included films from 12 countries: Russia, Germany, Serbia, Romania, Iran, Austria, the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Turkey, Bangladesh, Mexico and Qatar.

11 projects will be presented in the competition: “21 rubies” by Ciprian Mega (Romania), “Everything will be revealed” by Peter Keglevich (Austria), “Survive in Mo…” by Grigore Beket (Moldova, Russia, Romania) , “Breath of Cold” by Nahid Azizi Sedig (Iran), “The Forest King” by Goran Radovanovic (Serbia), “Between Dog and Wolf” by Murat Duzgunoglu (Turkey), “Nirvana” by Asif Islam (Bangladesh), “Shame” by Miguel Salgado (Mexico) ). And also two films from Germany – “Martin Reads the Koran” by Yuri Saule and “Shlimazl” by Silke Enders. The entry for Russia is Ivan Sosnin's film “The Alien”.

The 46th Moscow International Film Festival in 2024 will be held from April 19 to 26.
