The Oktyabrsky District Court of Yekaterinburg arrested for eight days 21-year-old student Dmitry Grebenkin, who attacked at least four girls after refusing to meet him. The publication E1.ru reports this.
According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, a report on petty hooliganism was drawn up against the young man (20.1 of the Administrative Code).
As Vecherniye Vedomosti writes, Grebenkin was detained on the night of April 3 at Koltsovo airport, from where he was planning to fly to Moscow with his cat. The student admitted his guilt and said in court that he “was in a state of passion.” One of the girls who was attacked by Grebenkin said that he grabbed her by the arms, another that he tried to hug her, and then threw her into a snowdrift and began to spit.
The student made excuses that he “was offended.” According to him, the girl he threw into a snowdrift refused to meet him “in a rude manner,” and he “pushed her without intent” and ran away. Grebenkin said that he was ready to “make amends for moral damage” and would never meet again.
“We are ready to make amends for moral damage. We decided as a family that we would take him to doctors and monitor his actions,” the young man’s mother added at the trial.
At the end of March, four girls — 21-year-old Alexandra, 27-year-old Anastasia, 24-year-old Karina and 19-year-old Veronica — told the Svet Ekaterinburg telegram channel that the same man attacked them after refusing to meet. Three attacks occurred near the main building of UrFU. After this, the girls were left with bruises and abrasions, and they contacted the police.
Another girl named Anna told Ekatsky Fiction that in February, not far from the university, a stranger approached her and her friend and told them something about genitals. Frightened, the girls ran away.
