The Krasnodar Regional Court sentenced 21-year-old Daniil Zinkovsky to seven years in a maximum security colony in the case of preparation for high treason (Part 1 of Article 30; Article 275 of the Criminal Code), according to the court’s website.
According to the investigation, in September 2022, a resident of the village of Leningradskaya called the phone number that contacts those wishing to join the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine, and said that he wanted to fight against the Russian army. After this, they told the court, the young man left the Krasnodar region for Ukraine through the Rostov region, where he was detained.
According to the press service of the court, Zinkovsky admitted guilt.
