NIZHNY NOVGOROD, April 19 Minister of Agriculture Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev, during a working trip to Mordovia, inspected the high-tech plant for the production of dry food «Good Master» and a workshop for the preparation of seeds, the press service of the head of the republic reports.
The Talina group of companies implemented its first project for the production of pet food in 2018, starting with wet diets for cats. Construction of a new production site for the production of dry diets for pets began in December 2022. Its area is 13 thousand square meters. Investments in the investment project aimed at import substitution and development of Russian feed production amounted to more than 2 billion rubles.
«»The technical launch of the plant took place at the stand of Mordovia at VDNKh in February of this year. The first batches of ready-made rations were released in the 1st quarter of 2024. After production reaches full capacity, 50 thousand tons of dry food will be produced here annually. The enterprise is equipped with ultra-modern equipment, an automated system management continuously monitors the condition of the equipment. The technology used allows for maximum preservation of all useful substances, vitamins and amino acids in the finished diets,” the statement says.
The republic is also solving the problem of training personnel and attracting young people to the industry. For this purpose, a training center began operating, on the basis of which the project “Personnel of the Future” is being implemented. Now students of the agricultural technical school are studying there — undergoing practical training with subsequent employment. 
The Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, together with the head of Mordovia Artem Zdunov, also assessed the preparation and progress of the sowing group of companies «Good deed» in the Chamza region of the republic. The enterprises operate a full production cycle — from the preparation of seed material, growing crops, animals and poultry to the production of dairy and meat products and their own distribution.
On the basis of the Magma HD enterprise, a new plant for the production of seed material was launched in 2022. The process is fully automated; in an hour, after multi-stage cleaning, calibration by size and weight, pickling and packaging, 12 tons of seed are prepared here.
“With the launch of the workshop, investments in which amounted to more than 175 million rubles, the enterprise prepares the seed fund 100% on its own. Seed germination is 99%. Within 24 hours, the plant manages to sort about 150 tons of seeds. They immediately go to the fields, spring seeds remain in granaries,» the report says.
The delegation led by the head of the country's Ministry of Agriculture also visited one of the fields of the Magma HD company. Spring field work on the agricultural group's plots began on April 11, sowing of peas and spring wheat is now underway, and the application of mineral fertilizers continues. Hundreds of people work in the fields every day, and about 100 pieces of agricultural machinery are used. Modern technologies increase operational efficiency and help reduce costs. A transport monitoring system is actively used here, which allows you to quickly collect information about the movement of vehicles and the volume of work performed.
