MOSCOW, April 21 Head of Gagauz Autonomy Evgeniya Hutsul and opposition Moldovan politician Ilan Shor reported that due to their age they would not participate in the presidential elections in Moldova.
““I can’t, I’m 37 years old. Anyone who has reached 40 years old can participate in our elections,” Shor answered the corresponding question.
Evgenia Gutsul also stated that “I don’t fit the age range — our law stipulates that from 40 years old.”
On Sunday, Hutsul and Shor took part in a congress of opposition Moldovan politicians in Moscow, at which the creation of the “Victory” bloc was announced.
Presidential elections in Moldova are scheduled for this fall.
