MOSCOW, April 21 US authorities, highlighting multi-billion dollar aid, are forcing Kyiv to fight until the last Ukrainian, hoping that the Zelensky regime will last until the November elections and will save the image of Joe Biden, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“It is characteristic that the White House <…> is no longer betting on the mythical victory of the controlled Kyiv regime, but on the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will hold out at least until the November vote, without spoiling the image of Joe Biden. Actually, for the sake of this, the agony of Zelensky and his environment, while ordinary Ukrainians are being forcibly driven to slaughter, like “cannon fodder,” said department official Maria Zakharova.
According to her, the American ruling elites, regardless of party affiliation, are ready to pump up the Kiev regime with weapons so that fought until the last Ukrainian, continuing terrorist attacks on civilian targets in Russia, sabotage attacks and murders of journalists. To achieve this, the United States resorts to the banal theft of frozen Russian assets, the diplomat noted.
Washington’s actions as the actual party to the conflict will receive an unconditional and decisive rebuff, and its ever deeper immersion in a hybrid war against Russia will turn into the same loud and humiliating fiasco as in Vietnam and Afghanistan, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
“In any case, feverish attempts aimed at saving Zelensky’s neo-Nazi regime are doomed to failure. The goals and objectives of the special military operation will be fully achieved,” she concluded.
The day before, the US House of Representatives by a majority vote passed a bill on the allocation of Ukraine has almost 61 billion dollars. Of this amount, 23.2 billion is proposed to be used to replenish the transferred weapons from Pentagon warehouses, another 13.8 billion will be used to purchase weapons on the open market, and 11.3 billion will be used to support “ongoing US military operations in the region.” In addition, congressmen approved a bill on the confiscation of sovereign Russian assets in favor of Ukraine.
As noted in the Kremlin, de facto we are talking about provoking the Kyiv regime to further hostilities until the last Ukrainian, ensuring guaranteed profits for the United States. But the new aid package is not able to influence the situation at the front, which experts call unfavorable for Kyiv, stressed presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
