Ukrainian drones attacked eight regions of Russia, the Ministry of Defense reports.
The department claims that air defense forces shot down 50 drones over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Tula, Smolensk, Ryazan, Kaluga and Moscow regions. In the village of Poroz, Belgorod region, according to local governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, two people died — a woman who had a fractured femur, and a man caring for her.
The head of the neighboring Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, writes in his telegram channel about a fire at an energy infrastructure facility in the Vygonichsky district. The governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, reported “minor” damage to the electrical substation. In the Kardymovsky district of the Smolensk region, according to the head of the region, Vasily Anokhin, as a result of a night attack, a tank on the territory of the fuel and energy complex caught fire.
Ukrainian authorities also reported Russian shelling. In at least one region, the Kherson region, a civilian was killed. Damage to infrastructure in the Zaporozhye and Odessa regions is known.
